For this project, our aim was to capture the dialogue between two very different kinds of wild. The dense stillness of the pine forest and the open restlessness of the ocean. Dynamic camera movement traces how the house nestles into the dunes, drawing out its quiet relationship to the coastline. Close work on Sigma Cine Zooms revealed what makes the materials sing, the grain of the timber, its weathering, the warmth of light moving across its surfaces. Sweeping aerials on the DJI Mavic Series gave us the scale and drama of the site, and the sense of true remoteness that defines it.
