For this project, our aim was to capture the scale, precision and sheer ambition of a home suspended above a former quarry. Designed by Steven Harris Architects, the residence is an extraordinary feat of engineering, concrete and steel held in perfect equilibrium above the void. We used movement and perspective to reveal the drama of its cantilevered form, finding the balance between structural audacity and quiet serenity. The RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms gave us the precision to work the finer details, while sweeping aerials on the DJI Mavic Series traced the home's relationship to the landscape below, communicating just how far it dares to reach.
