For this project, our focus was on capturing the remarkable interplay between form, light and site that makes Silvertop such an enduring architectural icon. Restored by Bestor Architecture, the home's sculptural concrete curves, glass walls and expressive details respond to the California sun and the expanse of Silver Lake below. The RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms let us follow the way natural light moves through the spaces, revealing the intentional transitions between interior and exterior and the structure's refined materiality. Aerials on the DJI Mavic Series revealed the home's dynamic presence on the hillside and its relationship to the landscape and horizon below.
