For this project, our aim was to capture the drama of a home that doesn't sit on its landscape so much as emerge from it. Designed by Omar Gandhi Architects, Rockbound is perched on a sloped granite outcrop in Hubbards, Nova Scotia, its concrete form shaped by the scattered boulders that trail down to the Atlantic shoreline. The RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms let us draw out the texture and scale of the granite against the clean lines of the structure. Sweeping aerials on the DJI Mavic Series revealed the full drama of the site, tracing the home's position above the bay and out toward the open Atlantic.
