For this project, our aim was to capture the strength and delicacy of a home designed to sit lightly atop the wetlands of Sag Harbor. Designed by Bates Masi + Architects, the residence is an exercise in material precision and structural innovation, its palette of timber, glass and steel reflecting the tones of the surrounding landscape. We worked across shifting weather and light with the RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms, capturing the house beneath sun, mist and rain to reveal its changing character throughout the day. Sweeping aerials on the DJI Mavic Series traced the home's layered landscaping and its quiet relationship to the tidal environment below.
