For this project, our aim was to capture the rhythm of life by the water and the architecture's effortless connection to the bay. Filmed on Waiheke Island in New Zealand, the story unfolds through the movement of tide, reflection and light. The RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms let us use gentle handheld work to draw out the warmth and texture of the materials. Sweeping aerials on the DJI Mavic Series traced the home's relationship to the bay, revealing the quiet harmony between the architecture and its coastal surroundings.
