Seascape House

For this project, our focus was on capturing the sense of isolation and intimacy that defines this remarkable coastal retreat by Patterson Associates. Nestled into the cliffs of New Zealand’s South Island and partially embedded within the landscape, the cabin was designed as a secluded hideaway for honeymooners. We worked to convey both its privacy and drama - a structure at once sheltered and exposed, surrounded by raw terrain and open sea. The project was filmed using the RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms, with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro providing sweeping aerials that reveal its hidden cove and the vastness of the land around it.
