A timber-clad home set between the pines and the pacific coast

For this project, our focus was on capturing the powerful simplicity of a home set between forest and sea. Positioned on a secluded stretch of the New Zealand coastline, the property opens to its own surf beach and backs onto an endless expanse of pine forest. The film highlights the warmth and texture of the timber exterior, the shifting light across its surfaces, and the sense of calm isolation that defines the setting. The project was filmed using the RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms, with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro providing sweeping aerials that reveal the home’s perfect balance between wilderness and water.
