Big Sur House

For this project, our aim was to capture the home’s seamless connection to the rugged coastline, where the structure feels carved from the landscape itself. We focused on the interplay between glass, timber and stone, and how the architecture opens completely to the horizon. The project was filmed using the RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Zeiss Contax prime lenses, balancing the precision of the Raptor with the flexibility of the Komodo across varying light conditions. We also incorporated the DJI Mavic 4 Pro for sweeping aerials, allowing us to showcase the dramatic siting of the home and its breathtaking relationship to the ocean below.
